As if it were a prophecy of things to come the ore glistened as no other before it, bright white as if it were reflecting and resonating from the blast of it's brother.

One could hear a hum emmiting from it even before hammer struck it for the first time.
At night the smith constantly woke up in a sweat at the crashing boom heard only in his dream, and he wasn't the only one.
A fear rose in the community surrounding the smith's house and not one of them knew the true cause or how far this blade would go to scare the hearts of many, but one would soon understand...

Nearing it's completion KeravnoS can be heard not only humming but whispering, whispering so lightly that barely a soul could hear it, but the message was so clear everyone knew it.
For weeks it's voice could be heard in the subconscious of every soul that entered into the town and with each departing traveler the message was carried on as if every one was a courier.

Weeks went by and the townsfolk were in a daze living their lives in a minimal way while their minds processed and hummed the message of the blade.
Three months later the message reached it's destination in a desert town two weeks from the smith's home and a man awoke in a sweat knowing where he must go.
That day the man left his home as not a man but a blurry vision that no one could place, he was humming with thunder and it was the sound of destiny which could be heard far and wide, peak to prairie, and it would not go unheeded.

The moment the destined weilder of the blade began his journey the townsfolk awoke from their daze and realized what had come to pass.
Frightened of what the blade might acomplish they created a sheath with which they might contain the vibrations coming from KeravnoS.

It took every ounce of skill from each of the best smiths in the surrounding towns but not two days before the chosen owner reached the town they finished it.
Six smiths then fled in the opposite direction in an attempt to find someone who could undo what they created, among them was the original crafter of the sword.
Not himself, but rather a shell of a man who, within, hid a demon of immense power, the weilder to be, still a days march away from the town, shook the very ground around him reaching past the town and right unto the heels of the fleeing smiths.

All the while the man who was destined fought against this creature within him, but one way or another both of them would soon catch up to the legendary KeravnoS and only time will tell which of them, man or devil, will end up with the blade in hand.

Thanks to ~crypticbebop for all that :)

Yeah, it's finally done. 6 months in the making.. this whole project is now about 700 megs big.

Other people that I shall thank for their support are all the eqate crew and ~ke1th and *nykolai for their useful suggestions.

Hope you like.. and buy the prints, this one looks impressive (yeah I've printed one on my own..)

Update:

Sorry for taking so fucking long guys.. but well, first of, I have slightly changed the background, by making it brighter.
Also, there is a detail render provided in another deviation, just to show how much detail this sword has.
This 2400x1600 render absolutely does no justice to it.

The swords are what need to shine in this piece not the background.. :)

It was more complex at first, but after looking at it, it was a better idea to leave it more simple..
